How to fix this clicking noise in my stabilizers? Already lubed with 205g0 and dielectric grease, can’t reproduce without keycaps on. v.redd.it/f12ichghp5a61
How does this happen? Thinking about just going out and getting a pair of dielectric nipple heat traps. Is that the right component?
KBD75V2 with lubed Zealios (78g, 205g0, TX films) and sheet of wsorbothane in the bottom. Durock stabs with 205g0 lubed housing and dielectric grease lubed wires. 🩹 mod. v.redd.it/qvm35ac0ug661
hey guys! as the pic shows, this is gonna be my first keyboard build. any suggestions on how i can improve this? I just bought a ducky one 2 mini and it got me really into keyboards lol. I have dielectric grease and lube on its way as well
I closed this dielectric grease yesterday
Remember to use dielectric unions to prevent corrosion!
My spacebar is making an awful metal clacking sound. Does not rattle and I have tried putting on lots of dielectric grease. Please help v.redd.it/8eduypwjtls51
Sound Test: Tofu 60, Gateron yellow, HK 9009 Keycaps, Aluminum plate, Cherry screw in stabs with KBDFans stab foam and lubed with dielectric grease. v.redd.it/jnwgw8hfp3x51
Multilayered BSDF test (rough conductor + smooth dielectric) with my C++ Path Tracer. 800x600, 4096 spp, box filtering, russian roulette ray termination, BSDF importance sampling, ~1M triangles, SAH-based BVH, 1h24min rendering time.
I don’t know what I made. I glued some extra switches and key caps to a box and made a giant switch. It is 2 lubed gateron black inks. One with krytox 205g0 and another lubed with dielectric grease (I wanted to see what it would be like). Also one stock black ink and a stock kailh pro green. Enjoy🤣 v.redd.it/xvr8r7vdamo51
Laser art setup I created in my closet this weekend. Mostly 2nd hand glass/crystal, some borosilicate, dielectric glass, H2O and a few mirrors. More details and shots in comments.
Laser Setup from a few days ago. 2 RGB projectors, 7 single laser modules, some dielectric glass, water, and thrift shop glass. Made in my closet.
I'm having trouble finding dielectric/silicon grease in my country. So can I use multipurpose or lithium based grease on my stabs?
Drop ALT HP. Halo clears, upgraded springs to 100g from 1up. lubed with gpl205 and band aid modded stabs with dielectric Grease. Maxkey SA Stars caps. v.redd.it/l8r8nmpzabf51
shouldn't capacitance increase as the myelination serves as a dielectric?
Is this dielectric grease?
Do I put a drop of dielectric grease at the top of the wire for this? I’m not sure where to put it but I am not disassembling
The right side of my ducky one 2 mini space bar stabiliser wire isnt in direct contact with the stem anymore and rattles. I've applied dielectric grease but it didn't help. The left side is fine. Someone help??
Just lubed my Anne pro stabs with dielectric grease and pure fluoridated PFPAE grease. Time for the band aid mod!
Gk61 with Gateron optical blacks lubed with Tribosys 3204. Stabilizers are clipped, bandaid modded, and lubed with dielectric grease.
A photo of laser art, NOT a render. Piece built from thrift shop glass, a dielectric pane, 8 lasers, and repurposed mirror from a rear projection TV.
better call it ell-eye-etch dielectric
Dielectric breakdown - or how electricity finds the "path of least resistance": a strong enough voltage can strip electrons from atoms, turning a normally insulating gas into a conductor
First timer, id80 with stock ink blacks, zealpc stabs with dielectric grease, pbt muted key set,and black on black JUMBO coiled cable from Mechcables👌
8 lasers, many pieces of glass, 3 mirrors and Dielectric glass. Made in my closet.
Do you thing this would word for lubing stabs instead of dielectric grease? It looks like a very similar consistentsy, with a slight yellow hue.
DIY Cat 6 speaker cable. First attempt 😬. 16 strands of solid core 23awg ofc copper insulated with a 1.4 dielectric polysomesort. Hand braided for several hours. no idea if the braid geometry works. Bananas next then a listen. Any advice
Hello! Wanted to share an immersion cooled installation we have built for 36 Antminers. It is a dielectric fluid cycling through a heat exchanger cooled by running water. Took my first shower heated by a Miner and it felt so right 🙂 v.redd.it/x5unie1qgkd01
PSA: CT contacts need occasional cleaning. Compressed air & dielectric grease does the trick!
[OC] 3D model of an inspector submarine robot with 8 electrodes which generate an electric field around it while submerged in water. It emerges from the top of the robot and dies at the bottom. Here it's shown how this field interacts with an dielectric object (sphere) depending on it's position.
This is how I started doing my incoming service line reroutes. Input? Yes it’s copper and there is dielectric tape under the insulation. Brass split ring clamps were not available to me where I was.
10 lasers, 6 pieces of glass, 3 mirrors (including Dielectric glass). Made in my closet.
Rubber Tire Material (almost dielectric)
Dielectric grease doesn't work on joystick graphite pads. I tried using it to extend the life of the graphite and prevent drifting, but upon reassembly, the controls were lagging. I think it's just too viscous for the small hardware inside the mechanism. Guess I'll wait for them to fail again.
Does this work as a dielectric?
Have I correctly diagnosed this as galvanic corrosion due to a lack in dielectric/brass middle man?
Bird, Coaxial Dynamics & Dielectric wattmeter slugs. Different manufacturers, but compatible physically and electrically.
This Siemens 400 amp disconnect was installed 2 months before the first fuse failure. 250 amp fuses are used with a normal maximum continuous solar load of 180 amps 350mcm Al wire is used. 2nd fuse failed after 4mo. Any ideas? Should dielectric grease be used? File corrosion?
